Apr 23, 2019

Pascha is a beautiful time of hope and feasting! But how to ease meat and dairy back into our diets without overdoing it and ending up feeling sluggish and sick? In this week’s episode Cynthia speaks with Martha Condra about ways to make healthy choices during Bright Week.

While living in Nashville, Martha trained as a culinary apprentice at the Opryland Hotel based on classic European training and cooking. She graduated with a degree in culinary arts as well as several certifications in hotel and restaurant management. Martha also worked with the Test Kitchens of Cooking Light magazine in Birmingham, Alabama. She has lived in Birmingham with her husband and 4 children. The Condras are members of St Symeon the New Theologian Orthodox Church. Martha is now a freelance recipe developer, foodwriter and food stylist and has written recipes and done food styling for Cooking Light and Health magazines.
