Holistic Christian Life - Worshiping God - Mind, Body, Soul

Jun 16, 2020

Today Cynthia features an interview with Father Josiah Trenham on the topic of our emotions and feelings.  Recent events in our world and country have affected all of us.  How do we regard our feelings right now which can be all over the board?  Do we need to be concerned about them being sinful?  Fr. Josiah gives us great insight.

A native Southern Californian, Father Josiah attended Westminster Seminary California, receiving his M.Div. in 1992 while studying under some of the most influential teachers in the Reformed tradition.  In 1993, he was ordained to the Holy Priesthood of the Orthodox Church and in 2004 he was awarded a Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Durham, England.  Father Josiah has served as pastor of St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Riverside, California, since 1998.  He is an Adjunct Professor of Theology at St. Katherine College in San Marcos, California (2010 – present), and was an Adjunct Professor at California Baptist University (2003-2010).  Father Josiah has published numerous articles and two books and is also the founder of Patristic Nectar Publications, a non-profit ministry.  His weekly homilies are available on his podcast, The Arena, produced by Ancient Faith Radio.
